Blue Waves, the MEDSEA event dedicated to the circular economy for the sea and the environment in Sardinia, this year dedicated to climate change and measures and business adaptation technologies, which took place last September 30th in Cagliari.
It is a special bench that was placed last Friday in the Nieddittas space in Piazza Caduti Sul Lavoro in Terralba, Sardinia. The base follows a unique recipe with a mixture of cement, mussel shells ground with sand integration, and scraps from the Orosei marble quarries. The staves were made from Nieddittas production waste
After a careful study and preparation phase, the ENSERES project, of which the MEDSEA Foundation is a partner, begins to operate concretely in the two pilot sites of Sfax and Tire. Thanks to the funding provided by the ENI CBC MED project, several actions have been selected that will allow local civil society organizations to promote the management and sustainable development of the SPAMI
Our ambassador for the sea, Corrado Sorrentino, completed the Tour of Sardinia by swimming. On August 28, the arrival at Marina Piccola in Cagliari after 57 days at sea, 184 hours 50 minutes 28 seconds, and a total distance covered of 715,762km around Sardinia in 57 stages (12 km each).
